Pisgah Pale Ale
Our pale ale is a perfect blend of rich organic malts with whole leaf Chinook and Mount Hood hops. A crisp, clean profile makes this beer distinct. 31.8 IBU
Endless Summer Ale
Now brewed year round for those longing for lighter beer and warmer weather, this Certified Organic Blonde Ale is made with the finest organic 2-row barley malt, whole leaf Mount Hood and Nugget hops, water and top fermenting ale yeast.
Pisgah Porter
Five organic malts are blended and balanced by a single addition of whole leaf Chinook or Nugget hops. This darkest of Pisgah beers is rich and smooth.
Nitro Stout
Treat yourself to a nitro stout. Roasted barley and caramel malt lend this creamy brew a smooth and tasty flavor. Using nitrogen and a special creamer faucet Pisgah’s classic stout imitates other famous brews from the British Isles.
Solstice
Pisgah’s year round Belgian. A Tripel ale, this beer contains moderately fruity esters with an alcoholic complexity supported by a soft malt character. This beer is pale gold in color and 9.5% ABV. (750ml and draft)

NEW! Irish Red Ale
New Year New Beer! A style previously never brewed here at Pisgah, this red ale is…well… red and tasty! Caramel malts and a pinch of something darker lend a reddish hue to this American version of a classic Irish style. In short supply this small batch will be around for a few weeks, get it while you can.
Baptista
This Belgian Noël takes it’s name from Jan Baptista van Helmont (1579-1644), the Flemish chemist and physician who first discovered CO2 and coined the word “gas” by recognizing the existence of gases distinct from air. This energy luminary was the founder of pneumatic chemistry and also the first to bridge alchemy and early chemistry. Hats off to the man behind the bubble. Proost and Happy Holidays!
Hellbender Barleywine
Organic brown sugar and Centennial hops give this english style barleywine it’s smooth finish and extra alcohol. At a hefty 9.8% this miraculous beer is a tribute to North Americas largest Salamander, the Hellbender. A donation of $1.00 per bottle will be made to Wild South; a non- profit grassroots organization whose mission is to inspire and empower people to protect and restore the native ecosysyems of the southeast.

Valdez
This mouth watering stout is brewed with organic, fair-trade coffee beans from Dynamite Coffee Roasters and weighs in at a respectable 6.8%. The aroma of fresh coffee leaps from the glass, and finishes slightly dry. Treat yourself to the finest coffee stout this season. Availabe at the tap room and in 22oz bottles at your local grocer and specialty beer store.
San Franciso Lager
At Pisgah we’re all about pushing the envelope and broadening our horizons. Getting away from the big bold flavors of hopped up ales and such, we explore the other end of the spectrum with our newest lager. Just a fine American, good drinkin’ beer, made right here, in your home town. Mm mm.
Vortex I
The hoppiest beer in Buncombe County is back and hoppier than ever. Brewed with over 3.5 grams of four distinct varieties of super high alpha hops per glass, lupulin lovers rejoice. Treat Tourself while it’s fresh!
LEAF Amber
This American Amber Ale is a collaboration between Pisgah Brewing,and the Lake Eden Arts Festival, Black Mountain’s longest running famliy friendly camping music festival held twice a year, spring and fall. 10% of our sales will go to support LEAF in schools and streets right here in Buncombe County. Pisgah Brown Ale
This beer is an excellent session ale for those who like their beer a little on the malty side. A lighter body and balanced sweetness make this brown one to remember. Pisgah Brown is a rock solid brew. Drinking on the last batch of 2009 now, and we won’t see any more until the spring. Valdez has taken it’s place in the regular brewing schedule for the next few months. Happy winter everybody!
India Pale Ale
IPA was originally brewed to survive the long trip by sea from England to India. Treat yourself to this American version of a classic strong ale. With 6 hop additions including first wort hopping and a massive blast of dry hops, this beer has certainly become an Asheville area favorite. Available on draft at the Pisgah Taproom and Growlers at your favorite organic co-ops and grocery stores. 51.2 IBU 7.5% ABV
Pisgah Pub Ale
Brewed with local Haw Creek Wildflower honey, this blonde english style drought beer is pushed through a Nitro creamer fawcett creating the classic “whipped cream” foamy head and waterfall pour. A lighter 4% abv and lower carbonation produces the ultimate session beer. Treat yourself today! Draft only.
Beers of the past…. for now!
Belgian Amber Ale
Rich caramel in color, and delicately hopped, this is an Amber Ale with a Belgian twist. Fermented with the same yeast as our Solstice Tripel, this cousin of the tripel makes for a summertime sippin’ brew. 7% abv
Vortex II
This Russian Imperial Stout would make any 18th century Czar proud. Available at the tap room only, there is one more keg left and we are saving it for a party when the next batch of Vx II will be ready in fe’brew’ary.
The Red Devil
This 9% belgian ale was originally brewed to commemorate Pisgah’s 200th batch. Packed with over 1# of cherries and raspberries per gallon, the Red Devil balances delicately between tart and not too sweet. Treat yourself to half a Pisgah Nitro Stout on top for some chocolate covered cherries.
Belgian Pale Ale
Not your typical pale ale. Getting malty nuances and slight fruity esters from a special belgian yeast strain this lightly hoppy refreshing beer will be a limited release for the end of summer only.
Abbey Ale
Brewed with a famous Belgian yeast strain from Puurs outside of Brussels, this golden ale tastes crisp and clean like a lager, but has the depth of flavor and richness of a Belgian Ale. A very limited supply has been brewed for the summer months, get it while you can.
Reserve
This tasty belgian blonde is brewed mainly to serve as our house beer for late summer. It has been two years since we last had this tasty treat on tap.
Pilsner
Pisgah’s newest creation is a classic not often done by small breweries. Aged for three months before it’s release, this 6.5% bohemian pilsner is one to get your hands on before it’s gone. Our water profile is much like that of the famed lager producing regions of Europe which makes for an excellent brew.
Pisgah Equinox
This harvest style ale celebrates the bounty of the seasons. Amber in color and well hopped this beer weighs in at a comfortable 7.5% ABV. Treat yourself soon, just in time for the first day of spring! 47.5 IBU. Growlers and draft around town.
Equinox will be back in time for Brewgrass 9/19/09 and of course the Autumnal Equinox around the same time.
Saison
We rolled back the calendar to brew this beer. Like 150 years. This belgian farmouse ale was fermented without the modern convenience of temperature control which resulted in a perfect rendition of this style from 19th century belgium. Farmhouse ales were originally brewed to refresh the field workers during harvest season in Wallonia. Tart and sour notes dominate this light quenching ale.
Pisgah Oktoberfest
The Southeast’s first organic lager, Pisgah Oktoberfest leans more toward authentic German domestic versions of this seasonal favorite. Golden in color, the subtle malt body and rounded biscuit flavor set it apart from typical export and American versions. Using a special Bavarian lager yeast, Pisgah’s interpretation of this classic style is what you would find in a Munich bier garden this time of year.
Cosmos
Dark and mysterious, this Pisgah beer is a tribute to Belgian tradition and our homebrew roots. Combining the rich flavor of a Baltic Porter with the subtleness of a special Belgian yeast strain, the Cosmos is born. Bottle conditioned and aged for months this authentic organic beer will cellar for years to come.Respect tradition. Love beer. Treat Yourself! (750ml only)
Imperial IPA #1
Brewed in anticipation of the popping of the cap in NC, this 8% ABV Double IPA has been aged for several months. Now in its prime, this special one time offering is a Chinook bomb finished with Mt Hood and Nugget whole leaf hops. 66.8 IBU ‘05
Abbey
Our first stab @ a belgian blonde, This beer was in limited supply and served early summer ‘06
American Hefeweizen
Our first summer seasonal. This Hefe is straw in color and light by design. The mouthfeel and aroma of the yeast are delicately balanced with the character of the malt and hops. ‘05
Dancin’ Hobo
The Hobo is a creation is now 23 month in the works. This beer was first brewed incorporating orange peel and thyme. Next, we added some charred oak and champagne yeast. And finally a healthy dose of raspberries. Much later, the Dancin’ Hobo was born. Hang on to your hat. If you don’t dance, you may after one of these. 13% ABV
Sorry folks, the Hobo has wandered off down the tracks. Will we ever see him again? Only the Hobo knows…
Pisgah Chateau
Our second summer offering, this Belgian has a nice sharp citrus zest flavor. Light, refreshing and mildy hopped this is a good choice for a hot summer day. ‘06
